Chavdar Dragiev

Painter, Illustrator, Graphic and Industrial Designer.
Born in Shumen in 1971. He spent his childhood in the Village under the Rocks.
The life there, the sun-drenched nature, the smell of grass and earth gave birth to his love for his native land.
His meeting with the artist Rumen Mihailov determined his creative destiny.
Developed his artistic skills, knowledge and human position at the Art High School in Plovdiv and then at the National Art Academy in Sofia.
Specializes in Illustration and Graphic Design.
He illustrated many children's books, first published in Bulgaria and Canada.
The paintings from the first period of his work are filled with watercolor technique.
In the following period, he worked in classical oil technique, mainly portraits and figurative compositions.
